The
ssl.wrap_socketfunction was deprecated in Python 3.7 and removed in Python 3.12, withSSLContext.wrap_socketbeing the new recommended function. It does the same thing, but with more options.I found out about this removal since the tilde.town migration from Ubuntu 22.04 to Debian testing upgraded Python from 3.10 to 3.13 and a poor bot stopped working when SSL was enabled.
